3:14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
3:15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
3:17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
3:18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
3:19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
3:20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
3:21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
3:22After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
3:23And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
3:24For John was not yet cast into prison.
3:25Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
3:26And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
3:27John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
3:28Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
3:29He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
3:30He must increase, but I must decrease.
3:31He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
3:32And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
3:33He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
3:34For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
3:35The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
3:36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
1:10Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
1:11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
17:2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
17:3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
17:4I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
15:36And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.
15:37And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.
15:38And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.
5:6For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
5:7For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
5:8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
5:9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
5:10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
5:11And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
1:6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
1:7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
1:8Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
